I recorded a segment for tonight’s F*ckin’ News covering Israel’s airstrike on Beirut and their ground incursion in Southern Lebanon… and Instagram would not let me add the banner and save the video.
I’ve had this problem before but never considered it was because of the subject I was talking about in the video. And usually I’m able to find a workaround.
But not tonight. None of my usual tricks were working. I could not get the video to save. So I figured f*ck it… I’ll just edit the video together outside the app and then upload the full video…
Instagram would not let me upload the video. The wheel just spun and spun… so, just out of curiosity, I removed this Israel segment…
And voila! The video uploaded no problem. I… do not like that. This may become the place where I post things that get flagged on socials. TikTok has flagged and removed MANY episodes (and not ever once for ‘misinformation’ or anything of the kind) over the last year I’ve been doing this.
