In Australia, Category 2 Tropical Cyclone Alfred is expected to make landfall in Brisbane by the end of this week. Apparently this area hasn’t seen a storm like this in over 50 years and evacuations are taking place.

  • How embarrassing. I mispronounced Brisbane. I know how to pronounce Brisbane. I knew before today but also I watched a bunch of video reports on Tropical Cyclone Alfred where they spoke about Brisbane. However… sometimes when I’m filming, my mind sort of detaches from my mouth and, even worse, sometimes I don’t catch it before I post.

  • Meteorologists are expecting Tropical Cyclone Alfred to increase in power to a Category 3 before making landfall.
