Welcome to The F*ckin’ Follow-up! I’m your host Kellerman, and a lot of shit happened recently so let’s refresh and go a little deeper…
First… I want to let you know that I have to raise the price of subscription at the beginning of next year. Not by much, but… go ahead and lock-in the current price if you’re thinking about subscribing!
Now let’s get to business…

The week began with reports of Meta building a 10 billion dollar under-sea, across-the-globe internet cable, Joe Biden pardoning his son Hunter Biden, a new 725 million dollar US weapons package for Ukraine, and protests in Georgia after the government’s decision to NOT join the European Union.

NOTES/UPDATES:
Currently Meta uses the global network of fiber optic cables that everyone else uses, but this new fiber optic cable would be JUST for them. And it’s budget is currently set to be $2 Billion. (The $10 Billion figure is an estimate of total end-cost.) Here’s a map of what they’re planning:
Joe Biden giving his son Hunter Biden a full and unconditional pardon was pretty controversial. Made worse by his former promises to NOT do that. Take a look at Joe Biden’s official statement by clicking HERE and tell me how you feel about it…
A week later… Joe Biden commuted the sentences of almost 1,500 people. You can read the White House press release HERE, which includes descriptions of some of the people who had their sentences commuted. He also pardoned 29 people. You can see the full list of those people HERE.
As you can see by the picture below… the U.S. Department of State released a list of exactly what the $725 million dollar US weapons package for Ukraine included. And you can click HERE to see where it’s SUPPOSED to be, however it seems to have been removed
Surprisingly difficult to find some footage of JUST the protests in Georgia following the government’s decision to put off joining the EU… but the New York Times did make a TikTok clip so you can watch that below:

This report covered the President of South Korea suddenly declaring martial law in the middle of the night, Spain’s plan to ban trans women from participating in women’s sports, France’s Prime Minister facing a no-confidence vote after pushing a budget bill through without a going through its regular process, and rebels in Syria seizing multiple large cities.

NOTES/UPDATES:
The President of South Korea suddenly declaring martial law in the middle of the night was an ongoing thing that I reported on again in a later episode (and will update on later in this newsletter). The video of President Yoon’s broadcast was surprisingly difficult to find by itself… I had to go to TikTok to find the video with subtitles. But you don’t have to search. Here it is:
No update on Spain’s plan to ban trans women from participating in women’s sports and removing the ‘Q+’ at the end of LGBTQ+… they’re still planning to do that.
I reported on France’s Prime Minister facing a no-confidence vote after pushing a budget bill through without a going through its regular process in another report below as well.
As for the rebels in Syria seizing multiple large cities… well… that was just the beginning. This 3 minute video from the Telegraph has a lot of interesting footage with little/no commentary. And if you want to dig just a little deeper, Channel 4 made a 7 minute video that explains a bit about the background of this sudden take-over.
KELLERMAN’S FAVORITE COMMENTS:
So interesting when people from the areas I’m reporting on participate in the comments. I wish he had responded to people’s questions!
That’s the goal!

This report focused on United Health CEO Brian Thompson being shot in the street in New York, French Prime Minister Michel Barnier being ousted from government after the no-confidence vote, an update on the unfolding situation in South Korea, and Bitcoin hitting $100,000.

NOTES/UPDATES:
It’s difficult to find the unedited footage of United Health CEO Brian Thompson being shot in the street in New York… but I’ve got you (DISTURBING VIDEO WARNING):
The French Prime Minister, Michel Barnier’s speech before being ousted from government with a no-confidence vote from Parliament was pretty interesting. You can watch it here:
The fallout in South Korea over President Yoon’s martial law declaration was still unfolding at this point, with a vote on whether or not to impeach him planned for the weekend.
Bitcoin hitting $100,000 may not seem like a big deal to a lot of people… but I am fairly confident that it will become more and more relevant over the course of next year thanks to, among other things, a new seemingly crypto-friendly administration. The thing is… it’s VOLATILE! Bitcoin’s price has whipped back down to around $92,000 and then back up above, closing the following week at close to $105,000. If you have no idea what Bitcoin is or how it works and you’re curious… here’s a video I think explains it pretty well (though make no mistake, it is pretty complicated) :
KELLERMAN’S FAVORITE COMMENTS:
“Potato quality” made me laugh… that said, I personally thought it was a little odd that police seemed to have so much camera footage of the murder and subsequent sightings of the killer… yet basically had no leads until the McDonalds employee called in and tipped them off.
Seriously… social media platforms LOVE to shadow ban me so it’s more important than ever to like, comment on, and share my posts so that it gets out to more people.
