🥚 USA Egg Recall: 1.7 Million Dozen Recalled for Salmonella
August Egg Company is recalling its cage‑free & organic eggs (sold Feb 3–May 15) in 9 states: CA, NV, WA, AZ, WY, NM, NE, IN, IL.
79 confirmed salmonella illnesses across seven states, including 21 hospitalizations.
Affected brands: Clover, First Street, Nulaid, O Organics, Marketside, Raley’s, Simple Truth, Sun Harvest, Sunnyside.
The good news is analysts don’t think this will affect egg prices.
💉 RFK Jr. Dismisses Entire CDC Vaccine Advisory Panel
On June 9, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. removed all 17 ACIP members, citing conflicts of interest and "restoring public trust".
RFK Jr. plans to appoint a new committee within two weeks.
The American Medical Association criticized the move as “undermining trust” in vaccine policy,
