Protests In Serbia (And A Sonic Weapon Used?), Conor McGregor Crashes White House Press Briefing, Missouri Sues China, and More F*ckin' News
March 17, 2025
A lot happened over the weekend!
In Serbia, after months of student-led protests, as many as 300,000 people (some reports say “over 100,000” while other say “350,000”… the reality is likely somewhere in between) took to the streets, participating in a peaceful protest against government corruption.
You can see a video of the MASSIVE demonstration with both drone fly-overs and footage from the ground from The Guardian here:
A clip of people suddenly clearing a street went viral along with a narrative that the military used unlawful sonic weapons on the crowd… however the evidence I’ve seen provided is not proof of this.
I have had A LOT of people come into my DMs saying that they were there. Some say there was no doubt some kind of sonic weapon used on the crowd. Others say that’s a bogus claim and people thought a car was screeching down the road. Based on the footage… the latter is much much much more likely. Everyone turns to look… the panic comes in a wave… everyone jumps out of the street… then after a moment of confusion and looking around (no car) … they simply return to the street. Nobody in any of the videos clutches their ears/head… which is what people typically do when hit with a sonic blast of some kind. Can’t rule it out though! Watch two of the videos below and decide for yourself.
Elsewhere in Serbia, a nightclub caught fire during a concert from the pyrotechnics, killing at least 59 people and injuring 155 others.
The pyrotechnics used during the show are the cause of the deadly fire.
Some reports say that the nightclub was over-capacity. Making this incident even deadlier than it should have been.
CNA made a short report that includes video of the incident, as well as interviews with some of the survivors. Watch it here:
