Today’s first episode was all about the United States:

🛂 Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the immigrant who was deported to El Salvador with MS-13 gang members due to an administrative error, has - after 2 months - been returned to the United States… so that he can stand trial for conspiracy to transport, and transport undocumented immigrants for financial gain.

  • I reported 29‑year‑old Abrego Garcia, originally from El Salvador, being deported back in March, despite a 2019 court order protecting him from removal. During a press conference, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt described his deportation as an administrative error.

  • The Supreme Court almost immediately intervened, ordering his return… which became a very dividing issue. Nearly 2 months later, on Friday, June 6th, he was returned.

  • Upon return, he was hit with a two‑count federal indictment (filed May 21 in Tennessee) charging him with conspiracy and unlawful transportation of undocumented immigrants for financial gain.

  • Prosecutors allege he moved thousands of people—including purported MS‑13 members—from 2016 to 2025. You can read the official indictment by CLICKING HERE.

  • Defense claims he fled gang violence, is a family man with three disabled children, and that charges are politically driven.

🚨 The manhunt continues for Travis Decker who’s been on the run since last Monday after the bodies of his 3 young daughters all under the age of 10 were found dead near his home in Washington state.

  • Sisters Paityn (9), Evelyn (8) and Olivia (5) disappeared May 30 during a planned visitation with their father, Travis Decker.

  • Their bodies were found June 2 near Rock Island Campground in Chelan County; autopsy ruled cause of death as murder by suffocation.

  • Police have released his online searches from days earlier showing he was searching information on relocating to Canada, raising suspicions of premeditation.

  • The community held vigils in Wenatchee Valley on June 6.

  • At the time of this writing… he is still on the loose! Contact authorities if you have any information.

🏥 The Trump Administration rescinded emergency abortion requirements which doesn’t necessarily, but could prevent life-saving care for women when abortions are involved.

  • The Biden-era guidance mandating that hospitals provide abortions during medical emergencies, irrespective of state abortion laws has been removed.

  • The guidance was part of EMTALA (The Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act), which requires stabilizing care.

  • The ACLU and National Women’s Law Center stressed that although legal obligations haven’t changed, providers may hesitate without clear federal backing.

  • Hospitals in states with abortion bans may now turn away women in emergencies, increasing potential health risks .

  • The Catholic Medical Association has filed a lawsuit challenging the federal removal, citing threat to patient care.

🪖 And Anti‑ICE demonstrations in Los Angeles became violent, increasingly so after President Trump sent in the National Guard.

  • I had originally reported that the protests hadn’t become violent until the National Guard was deployed, however… this was a clerical error on my part, I misread my own notes when compiling the boiled-down version for my short report and… I’m not trying to make excuses, I got this wrong and I realized it as soon as I posted. So I included a correction in the next episode (below)!

  • Protests began peacefully last week, sparked by a major increase in ICE arrests. But stories of violence started increasing… first spitting, then throwing rocks, then lighting cars on fire, slashing tires, etc. You can see a more peaceful protest here:

  • Then President Trump deployed ~2,000 National Guard and Marines under Title 10 without state consent.

  • This is when the clashes escalated: a lot more cars set on fire (including Waymo driverless ones for some reason), rocks, concrete, fireworks thrown at police.

  • Australian journalist Lauren Tomasi was shot with a rubber bullet.

  • Authorities used tear gas, rubber bullets, flash-bangs; over 50–60 arrests in L.A., plus 148 in other protests in San Francisco.

  • Governor Newsom is suing Trump over unconstitutional troop deployment. You can read the lawsuit for yourself HERE.

  • Protesters maintain these immigration crackdowns are unlawful; federal claims that protesters disrupted official duties—each side accuses the other of illegal interference. You can watch 3 hours of live feed from the protests here:

I had to make a whole second episode for the rest of the stuff that’s happened OUTSIDE the United States!

🌊 The Freedom Flotilla carrying Greta Thunberg and 11 other activists was intercepted by the IDF in international waters before reaching Gaza where it had intended to deliver aid. The aid has been confiscated and the activists will be returned home according to the IDF.

  • Israeli naval forces boarded the British‑flagged yacht Madleen early this morning in international waters, before it could reach Gaza's naval blockade. (About 100 meters from Gaza’s shore.)

  • You can see video of the arrest/seizure, and Greta’s pre-recorded message about being caught by the IDF here:
