I’m sorry… I know this one’s a week late, but I’ve been MEGA BUSY. So let’s catch up…

It was a short week for me as I took some time off to enjoy Comic Con. Still… Israel, Gaza, Yemen, The Falkland Islands, Ethiopia, Brazil, Nepal, North and South Korea, and in the United States: Illinois and California all made the F*ckin’ News. Watch it all in this week’s round-up below:

On Monday I caught up on some Middle East news including the Human Rights Watch releasing a report saying the Hamas had committed war crimes on October 7, an Israeli strike in Yemen in retaliation for a Houthi drone strike, the Houthis retaliating against that, and a settler attack in the Occupied West Bank.

On Tuesday I reported on former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigning after failing to prevent Trump’s attempted assassination, Kamala Harris holding her first presidential campaign rally before Joe Biden could even address the nation about dropping out of the race, a boat sinking off the coast of the Falkland Islands, two deadly landslides in Ethiopia, and a study in Brazil that showed a bunch of sharks have cocaine in their system.

• The Secret Service probe continued through the week, revealing that the shooter (Thomas Matthew Crooks) had had multiple interactions with security officers and police before the assassination attempt. It seems… truly wild that he was not prevented from taking a shot.
