An interesting week… Venezuela, Canada, England, Turkey, Israel, Syria, Russia, Nigeria, France, China, and in the United States: California all made the F*ckin’ News. Watch it all in this week’s round-up below:

MONDAY, JULY 29 (Click here to watch on TikTok)

On Monday I caught up on some of the things that had happened during my 4-day weekend at Comic Con, including the violent protests in Venezuela due to their current elections, the Jasper wildfire in Canada, a mass-stabbing in England, statements about invading Israel made by Turkey’s President, and the bombing of a soccer field in Israel.

NOTES/UPDATES:

  • The situation in Venezuela is ongoing and I’ve received a lot of messages asking me for more coverage on it, so it will likely be part of at least one of next week’s videos. Since this first report, protests have continued, and there have been all sorts of questionable events with speculation about the current sitting President rigging the election in his favor, and even having people killed to stay in power. That is, of course, not verified… but their have been bursts of violence among the peaceful protests, and just today opposition leader Maria Corina Machado joined the demonstrations.

  • I should also note that a number of people corrected my wording when I said that the current President’s opposition was Maria Machado. In fact, Maria is not running for President, she is the leader of the opposition party.

  • Al Jazeera did a pretty good quick summary of why these protests are happening, you can watch it below:

  • Channel 4’s coverage focused more on the violence erupting…

  • The Jasper Wildfires in Alberta, Canada are still raging. This weekend a man was killed trying to fight the fire, when a tree fell on him. Here’s a short video that includes a bystander’s video of the fire in its early stages… as well as some footage of the devastating aftermath.

  • The riots and protests related to the mass-stabbing of kids at a dance event in Southport, England continue… and there’s an element I didn’t include in my report because it hadn’t been verified… which is that a majority of the outrage stems from previous unrest regarding immigration. Similar to the United States, there are a large number of people dissatisfied with the number of illegal immigrants coming into their country, and when it came out that the suspected attacker was an immigrant, that’s what sparked the protests. However, the suspect IS NOT an immigrant. The suspect - Axel Rudakubana - was born in Whales. The times put together a montage of some of the protests and riots:

  • And here’s a video of the aftermath of some of the riots… which seemed to be calming down but have picked back up over the weekend.

  • Also, fun fact: Axel Rudakubana once appeared in an ad for BBC’s Children in Need program. The Daily Mail posted the old video, you can check it out HERE.

  • A lot of people commented on this video to correct me for saying that the area where the soccer field was bombed… is in Israel. They came at me saying it is actually Syria… so I did some more research and made a correction in the next video.

KELLERMAN’S FAVORITE COMMENTS:

It’s the “brb” part that made me laugh.

It never gets old finding out that people all around the world are watching The F*ckin’ News!

I absolutely love it when people actually do their own research and fact-checking… and share information in my comments without aggression. That’s how we all learn. Not by attacking each other.

TUESDAY, JULY 30 (Click here to watch on TikTok)

Tuesday’s report covered two deadly landslides in India, The massive Park Fire burning in Northern California, and I updated and corrected a few of my previous reports, including the clarification about Golan Heights, Israel striking Beirut in retaliation for the Houthi’s drone strike, the Bangladesh shoot-on-sight curfew, and the riots that resulted from the stabbing in Southport.

NOTES/UPDATES:

  • The full story behind the landslides in Kerala, India is absolutely devastating… after the first landslide buried a number of families… people were trying to dig/search/rescue… when the second landslide occurred, burying THOSE people. As of now, 196 people are confirmed dead, around 200 are still missing, 4 were found/rescued and something like 9,000 people have been displaced.

  • AFP posted some arial footage of the aftermath, you can watch it HERE.

  • As of today, the Park Fire in Northern California is 30% contained and has burned 401,279 acres total. Here’s some local news footage of the fire…

  • But the video I used in the background of my episode… was bodycam footage from one of the firefighters IN the fire… which I thought was just insane! I’ll include it here without me in the way:

  • Once I corrected my wording on the Golan Heights report - where a soccer field was struck by a missile - clarifying that Golan Heights was actually in an area of Syria controlled by Israel, I got a ton of commenters telling me that THIS was incorrect, and that I was right before. It is simply part of Israel. So I’m sharing the map on which I based my report, which identifies Golan Heights as an (Israeli occupied) territory of Syria. Truly I have no dog in the fight, but from the comments, it seems whichever way I say it, I’ll be offending somebody.

  • I also saw a lot of comments of people saying this was a false flag attack. That Israel struck themselves… but I have not been able to find anything about that from any reputable source.

  • I’ll have to mention Bangladesh in another report this week as well because the protests there continue raging as well. And the reported death toll is all over the place, with some reports saying only 20 or “dozens” and others reporting as many as many as 90 protesters being killed now.

  • See Monday’s section above for the Southport riot updates.

KELLERMAN’S FAVORITE COMMENTS:

I like to change it up every once in awhile haha.

Not exactly the endorsement I’d prefer, but I believe this is a big compliment from a self-proclaimed professional hater.
