U.S. tariffs on steel, judge blocks DOGE, Romania's president resigns, Hamas delays prisoner release, and more F*ckin' News.

First, watch today’s episode here:
In the United States, President Donald Trump announced he will impose 25% tariffs on ALL steel and aluminum imports.
There was a more official press briefing/signing which I’ll do a watchalong for, but the steel tariffs were first mentioned on a kind of strange small press conference held on Air Force One on Trump’s way to the Super Bowl. You can watch it here:
A US District Court Judge filed an injunction, stopping Elon Musk and DOGE from accessing the treasury department’s central payment system.
You can read the full court order HERE. And you can read the California Attorney General Rob Bonta’s statements HERE. (He was one of 9 states to file the motion.)
Vice President JD Vance claimed that they don’t have the power to do this… and I included in my report that… they definitely do have the power to do this. That’s how our three branch checks and balances works.
A lot of commenters seemed to be confused by me saying that the judge does have the power to do this… as if it’s some kind of bias or anti-Trump rhetoric. But it isn’t. It simply IS something US District Court Judges have the power to do since the 1803 case of Marbury v. Madison, which you can read about HERE. I made no statements about whether what DOGE is doing is good, bad, right, or wrong. Because those would be opinions.
