Your F*ckin' Weekly Review
Welcome to The F*ckin’ Weekly Review! I’m your host Kellerman, and a lot of sh*t happened recently so let’s refresh and go a little deeper…

First things first…
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 1, 2025
After taking a full week off to enjoy the holidays, the sh*t was already piling up on the first day of the year so… back to the news desk! The U.S. Treasury was hacked, a plane crash in South Korea that killed 179 people, China’s New Years Presidential address that included a vague implication about Taiwan, another national power outage in Puerto Rico, a terror attack in New Orleans that left 15 people dead, and a Cybertruck explosion outside of Trump Hotel in Las Vegas.

It was the first day of the new year and I thought I’d try something new. I put out each story as its own video, thinking that it might be easier for people to share the stories they want without all the other bullsh*t that comes in the longer videos. And… well… people really HATED it. And that’s fine. I’m still figuring this out! How did YOU feel about it?
If you’d like to read exactly what the U.S. Treasury said happened with the hack by China-backed ‘actors’, you can do so HERE. Apparently the bad actor gained remote access to some employees’ computers who had unclassified documents on them.
The plane crash in South Korea is so f*cking tragic, as most of the people on that flight were returning home from Christmas vacations in Thailand. Apparently the plane hit some birds and had to abandon its first attempt to land, but there wasn’t enough time for the landing gear to come fully down before the pilot had descended for his second attempt… and so it landed on its belly, skidding the wrong way down the landing strip, at the end of which was a large concrete barrier. When the plane made contact, it exploded, killing all of the passengers aboard except 2 in the back. Here’s a timeline diagram:
It is, of course, quite grizzly, but if you’d like to see the video of the plane crash, you can see it here:
There are multiple investigations happening, including… why was that wall there?
China’s New Years Presidential address starts off pretty great… the Taiwan stuff (at 9:14 in the below video) gave me pause. What do you think?
Puerto Rico continues having temporary blackouts in various areas after the power has been “restored” from the nation-wide blackout on New Years Eve.
The terror attack in New Orleans that left 14 people dead and 35 injured… was carried out by Shamsud-Din Jabbar (*who’s name I TOTALLY butchered in my report - sorry!) Two of the injured were police officers that got hit during the shoot-out after he rammed his car through the crowd of people. You can see pictures and descriptions of all 14 victims HERE.
Shamsud-Din was a U.S.-born citizen from Texas who served in the Army (though I did see some early reports that made this an immigrant issue… it isn’t) but oddly enough, he did have some cross-over in the military with Matthew Livelsberger, (the Trump Hotel Cybertruck perpetrator). Though there is no record of them being stationed together or being part of the same unit or anything like that, they were both deployed to Afghanistan in the same year (2009) and both at one point or another were stationed at North Carolina’s Fort Bragg. Does this mean anything? I have literally no f*cking clue, but it certainly is a MAJOR coincidence that they would both carry out car-related attacks just a few hours apart. They both also rented their trucks using the Turo app, but in my personal opinion, that means next to nothing. Unless the assumption is that the Turo app masterminded these attacks somehow… it’s just an app people use to rent cars.
Also found at the scene in New Orleans were two coolers filled with explosives and remote detonators. Luckily, police stopped Shamsud-Din before he could trigger them. Something interesting to note, though… the explosives contained chemicals that are, like, secret? Or at least… they’ve reportedly never been used in a terrorist attack in the U.S. and authorities are not releasing what the chemicals are. Hm. Interesting.
And there’s more, but I’m gonna have to stop the free subscribers here. (Sorry!) But consider supporting the channel with a paid subscription and get more sh*t!
